Keeping the larder running is a community effort. We have an amazing team of volunteers without whom the larder couldn’t operate. We have received generous donations from individuals and organisations and we are truly grateful to all those who help out in so many ways.

We want to give special thanks to….

Heritage Fruit & Veg

The guys at www.heritagefruits.co.uk deliver a donation of top quality fruit and veg to the larder each week. Absolute stars! We are so grateful.

Schools

St Matthew’s School, St John’s School and Bennett Memorial School all donated substantial quantities of non perishable food to our larder after their harvest collections.

Rosehill School have also made a very generous donation of food collected by their school community.

A huge thank you to all parents and children who gave food items….and of course to the hardworking school staff who get these events organised.

Southborough and District Lions Club.

Southborough Lions have been supporting the larder since day one and we wonder what we’d do without them. They’ve bought us equipment, donated cash and also some of their members volunteer at the larder on Friday mornings.

Tunbridge Wells Round Table

We were delighted to receive funding for a commercial freezer in the Round Table’s Annual Charity Giveaway 2023.

Wood & Pilcher

(Southborough Branch)

The lovely people at Wood & Pilcher Estate Agents in Southborough have donated a stack of food to the larder each Christmas. Thank you!

Tunbridge Wells Lidl

Lidl are amazing supporters of the larder; we have a donation crate in the Tunbridge Wells store and also benefit from donations from Lidl GB.

Jemima - web designer

Last but by no means least, a big thank you to Jemina, larder volunteer and website designer, without whom this site would be, well, pretty basic to be honest!

Find out more about her awesome talents here.
